Expert Vapor Mitigation Solutions
As one of the most experienced vapor mitigation contractors in the area, we have been installing vapor mitigation systems since 2010. Our team is extensively trained in both vapor and radon mitigation and is certified by the Indoor Environments Association (IEA), formerly known as the American Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists (AARST), as well as by the Minnesota Department of Health for radon mitigation and measurement. We also hold an Advanced Diagnostics designation from the Minnesota Department of Health, reflecting our commitment to maintaining the highest standards in the industry.
We work closely with the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency and the Department of Health to mitigate VOCs and methane vapors in enclosed buildings, ensuring safe and healthy indoor air quality. Our expertise covers the full spectrum of soil gas mitigation in indoor spaces, including the specialized differences between simple radon systems and complex vapor intrusion mitigation systems. We understand the critical importance of using properly sized, high-quality materials, including explosion-proof fans where necessary.
With our deep experience, advanced training, and state-of-the-art diagnostic tools, we are committed to designing and installing effective, efficient, and cost-conscious systems for your vapor mitigation needs.
What We Do
Mitigating both flammable and nonflammable vapors is a complex process that involves several key steps: initial property surveys, pre-mitigation diagnostics, proper system design and installation, and final diagnostics to verify system effectiveness. The primary method of mitigation is Sub-Slab Depressurization, although other methods may also be considered, including Sub-Membrane Depressurization, Sub-Slab Pressurization, Building Pressurization, Indoor Air Treatment, and Passive Barriers. Minnesota Radon Specialists will evaluate the specific situation to determine the most appropriate method—or combination of methods—and ensure that all procedures comply with MPCA Best Management Practices and IEA standards and protocols, ensuring a smooth, successful, and timely project completion.
